I'll be honest. I don't have a good story for this one. Charlie tried to bring a mouse he caught in the backyard into the house one night and, as amusing as it is to think about now, it was not a fun time trying to get him to drop it without the poor little corpse making it inside to leak its guts onto my carpet. SO, in order to memorialize his singular victory against the rodents that drive him bonkers, I made him a lineage... of owl cats.

If you find yourself with a Barn Mouser, all I ask is that their name reminds you of the countryside or the nighttime sky, and that they remain in your care until you consider it time for them to come home. If they're determined to follow you down the driveway, please carry them back to the porch where I can distract them with the promise of wet food and good head pats. <3
